Frequently Asked Questions
The Quran's primary logical argument is that the first creation was more difficult than the second. Since Allah (as Al-Mubdi') originated everything from nothing the first time, He can surely (as Al-Mu'id) restore it again, which is an easier act for Him. (e.g., Surah Yasin 36:78-79).
The Quran points to the cycles of nature as a sign of Al-Mu'id's power. We see the earth become 'dead' and barren in winter, and then Allah 'restores' it to life in the spring. This yearly 'resurrection' is presented as a sign for us to understand the final Resurrection.
