The First

Meaning of Al-Awwal

The One who is the First, with no beginning before Him. He existed before all creation and is the origin of everything. His existence has no starting point.

Al-Awwal in the Quran

Mentioned once in the Quran: \'He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing\' (57:3).
